Parents are requested to give a list of authorized visitors / local guardians by filling the Host /Guardian form along with photograph (3 copies each) should be submitted to the Head of Boarding, who can be permitted to visit the students in the Boarding House. Visitors other than those given in the list should get an authorization from the parents or the parents should intimate the Head of Boarding about the visit in advance.

Students will ordinarily be permitted to go home only if the school is closed continuously for 5 days or more. Students going out of school either to the city for a day's visit or to their native places for holidays or emergencies should enter the date and time of leaving the Boarding House and the proposed date and time of return to the Boarding House by filling the Travel and Leave form and refer to the Boarding Handbook for more information on Types of leave.

Any student desirous of attending a function in their house, a marriage or any other ceremony will be permitted to go only if the request is made in writing directly by the parents to the Head of Boarding.

Students going out to the local guardians will be issued a 'Pass'. This will be returned to the Head of Boarding /House Parent on their return, duly signed by the local guardian by tallying with the specimen signatures given in the Host /Guardian form. The forms for hostel must have the signature of all the local guardians designated by the Parent.

Local guardians authorized by parents of the students are expected to take care of the students' welfare and provide moral support. They may visit the students periodically during visiting hours only. The students are not permitted to stay in the local guardians' houses overnight and care should be taken by the local guardians in not inviting their wards to their houses on phone.

All Local guardians are requested to read carefully and sign the Letter of Undertaking for Local Guardians. Parents and Local Guardians are requested to ask for a copy of the undertaking form the Head of Boarding.
