Ms.Aditi Diwan the representative of Mount Allison University, Canada visited our school and gave a presentation to Year 12 IB Diploma students on 11th September, 2007.
She shared information about Mount Allison University. The information includes location of the university, climatic conditions, international admissions, international programmes and international students. The university is offering bachelor degrees in various disciplines.
The students were impressed with the admission procedures, fee structure and scholarships,and were happy to know that with 28 points in IB Diploma Programme, one can be enrolled in to Mount Allison University. The students who want to join this university may be fortunate, because students are exempted from SAT/TOFEL.The presentaion familiarised students with Canadian university procedure and pre-requisites.

| Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality |
The students were introduced to the exciting world of Hotel Management ,Tourism and Hospitality industry . They had an opportunity to learn more about Hospitality world from The Swiss School of Tourism and Hospitality located in Switzerland. The presentation was conducted by Mr. Santhosh K and Ms. Lavanya G R, who are the brand ambassadors of the school.
Switzerland and Swiss School is the first choice for students pursuing tourism and hospitality management education. High standards, excellent reputation, safe surroundings and of course value for money are major factors why students are consistently heading towards this country.
The school is offering Swiss Diploma in Hotel operations, Swiss Higher Diploma in Hotel Management, Bachelor Degree Programs and Post Graduate Diploma in International Hospitality Management.
It was a pleasant afternoon with student involvement and interactions with Mr. Santhosh and Ms. Lavanya. Students have seen a new dimension to their future careers.

| University of Bolton |
The students had a wonderful opportunity to attend a presentation on University of Bolton from United Kingdom. The presentation was lead by Mr. Des Bath from University of Bolton. Bolton is one of the largest towns in the UK and two of the most vibrant cities in England are not far away. This means that students benefit from the low cost of living in the town, but can enjoy the life, culture and entertainment on offer in Manchester and Liverpool.
The university is offering undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate courses in Art and Design, Business, Management and Logistics, Engineering, Health, Computing, Psychology, Sports and Recreation, Product design and Textiles.
The students had interactions with Mr. Des Bath, who was accompanied by Mr. Himanshu Mehta. Some students have expressed their desire for joining University of Bolton. Mr. Des Bath was felicitated with a shawl at the end of the presentation. He was pleased with the students interactions and hospitality of the school and a desire to visit SPIS again.
