ESOL ( English for Speakers of Other Languages)
The Teacher Development wing also has oversight of ESOL learning in the school. Our large number of students for whom English is not the mother tongue benefits from a suite of carefully graded English programmes which lead to internationally recognised Cambridge certificates.
There are programmes available for everyone from Grade 1 all the way through to Grade 12.There are opportunites for students to take these tests several times each year. They will be enrolled for them when the English teacher decides they are adequately prepared.

Teacher Development Wing
SPIS is a Cambridge University Diamond Centre. This means that it can conduct training courses for its own teachers leading to an award of the Cambridge International Diploma for Teachers and Trainers, an internationally recognized qualification. Its Diamond Centre status also means that it can offer these courses to schools and teachers throughout India.

SAT
This wing also ensures that 11th & 12th grade students are able to prepare for the Standardised Assessment Test, required by most American universities for admission.
